Dotstorming

Finally an alternative to the sticky note activity! Dotstorming is similar to Padlet with a voting addition. 

As a Dotstorming creator you can choose how many votes each person gets. People can post their digital sticky notes containing text or images. After the notes are posted they can cast their votes. Once voting is finished you can sort the notes according to the number votes they recieved.

Free Copyright-Clear Images, Video, & Audio

This post is going to include some websites that I have found that offer free images, audio, and videos that students and teachers can use in their projects. As I find more websites I will add them. Also if you know of any feel free to add them in the comments section!

Not all images are copyright free but each image is clearly labeled. Great site to search for images because you can filter by copyright license.

Pics4Learning
Free, copyright friendly images for education.  Citation listed right beneath photo.

Pexels
Over 10,000 free photos for use with at least 1500 new photos added each month.  All photos are licensed under the Creative Commons Zero license which means they are completely free to use for any legal purpose (like public domain photos).

Morgue File
Images that can be used for free in education or commercial presentations. Some require attribution.

Pixabay
Copyright free images. Registration is not require, but you can.

PhotoPin
Search millions of Creative Commons photos.  Download them in various sizes.

PublicDomainPictures.net
Site has many public domain photos available for free download.

New York Public Library Digital Collection

Photos For Class
Makes locating images and attributing their source a snap! All images are "G" rated and appropriate for the school setting. But the best part...the image citation is part of the image itself.

Powtoon

PowToon lets you create awesome presentations and animated videos
